dear fellow GMs

after returning from my holiday and clearing the activity picture, i have two openings in my DJSL LEAGUE:

Denver Nuggets - top team who finished with the league's best record last year, and is still among the title teams

Memphis Grizzlies - underachieving team with a nice mixture of youth and veterans, playoff calibre imho.

The rules are similar to this league here, just trading is more open (no waiting periods), the sal cap is higher and the monetary system gets you $$$ for team and player perofrmance as well (which you can spend on a few more things).


if you are interested, PM me. I'll keep a backlog of all interested GMs and will make a decision pretty soon.
(btw, we have currently 11 GMs playing both leagues, from the Raptors all the way to the Knicks)

i gave djcooper a thought, but then i remembered him from being the simmer at NBA1 league and the commish at BC and both leagues went down the drain pretty fast. In NBA1 there were constantly boxscores missing and he had the worst team there.

And last but not least he cost me my biggest chance for the first sim league title in NBA1: he simmed the whole playoffs in two hours - without announcing before - and whoever wasn't online (it was 4am for me) couldn't change DCs to replace injured guys.

well it's been one GM in, one GM out for the Rockets position -- you left a bit of a mess  :tup:

btw, Nuggets and Rockets and Cavs are bound to have a very nice pick in the upcoming draft


Trev's Heat are by far the worst team currently, despite 30ppg MVP Newley !
(yes, Trev just came back, apparently to have a shot at Garnett)
Nuggets have the 2nd worst record, despite 4 A+ defenders !!
Cavs have the 3rd worst record, despite employing Superman !!!
and Rockets have 8th worst record, despite Greg Oden !!!!

Sim 12 will be tomorrow evening, so the draft is probably just a week away

Some of those teams are in pretty good shape fan an incoming GM...which made it pretty tempting....

If any of the guys in my other leagues are looking for a league, I'll be sure to point them (the mature/decent ones) in your direction.

They probably wouldn't fit in  :lol:

well, thanks guys for the quick decisions, we've filled all open teams, after the Pacers  - still #1 AllTime GM in DJSL with 5 titles - make a surprise return.
