I joined a sim league that use college stats from lg15 of simulatedsports.com last week.  Here's the trade I made on Tuesday:

I trade a 33yo sf B+CC-C+B-C that was all league third team last year, a future first and the right to swap next year's first for a 24yo center B+ C D B B B.

They said that I got raped on this trade and this trade should be vetoed. Lol 2  I told them that I made the playoffs in other league (SSBA) 19/20 season, know what I'm doing, and I got the following:

Quote
SSBA must be extremely easy if you can make terrible trades like this and still win. I hope you dont fool yourself into thinking you will have the same success here while employing the same flawed strategy.

How many of you would trade a 33yo (expiring), future first, right to swap pick next year for a 24yo center with rating B+ C D B B B in SSBA?

No way is that a rape, but it could be a bad trade if your team really really sucks and theirs is decent.

Both of the picks are not going to lotto and I have cap space this offseason with four of five starters back.

My point is that I don't think the future pick will get me a center with B+ C D B B B.

Some players' ratings are misleading to what they can produce on the court. Your newly acquired young center might got solid ratings, but he might not translate his good ratings into good stats. It's hard to judge the trade when you don't post the stats of both these players.

Eitherway, it's not a rape. Unless, the C your getting is literally, overrated. And your trading lotto material picks for late first rounders.
