The Bulls wipe the defending champ out of their arena ... and boy was that a display of unselfish team basketball, at least after the first quarter jitters were gone. Sure, White Chocolate has been missed, but that was one heck of performance.

The Bulls looked legit.
 Cool

Only to get their behinds kicked by the upstart Magic, and worst of all by Grant Hill in a vintage performance reminding us why he once was closing in on MJ. The Manchild Dwight also handled the Bulls frontcourt, and Jameer outplayed the heralded Kirk/Du backcourt all by himself.

Didn't get to watch that 2nd performance, but it looks like my beloved Bulls have way to go ...

judging from the live ticker he was very much alive, kicking butt early. at one point he had shot 5 for 5 from the field and 4 for 4 from the line. Against Deng and Noce.
 Cheers

blaphemy. don't use his name in vein. Grant Hill was robbed a hall of fame career which I find terribly wrong. stupid doctor couldn't make things better, his 1st surgery caused him the 2nd, the 3rd and the near death experience due to staph infection. damn

oh yeah, dwight is freaking monster.

check his head almost his the backboard. he had to duck Smile

oh, btw, I have a program thaty can download NBAtv recaps, any of you like the sixers game highlights? I'll post it here though. http://forums.ssbabasketball.com/index.php?topic=5484.0 if any of you guys like to watch it..

i had the chance to watch some highlights of the orlando bulls game.

howard put on a dunking show, spinning around his slow opponents and dunking with ease also going backdoor for alley-oops. That was like a highschool game where guys just dominate with superior athletism.
never ever should that happen to a 10+ vet.

having both agility and strength Dwight has become a very dominant force and thanks to Coach K, Bosh and Brand for teaching him the fundamentals of basketball he never learned before Wink

so-so start into the season for the "red death". A blowout on both sides of the scale, a home opener given away like a birthday present for Ron-Ron and a sound beating of the upstart Bucks. Guess that inconsistency thing will follow this team for a while.

but it's sure fun to watch this season ...
 Cheers

btw, note to Sixers fans (didn't want to post it over at their thread, not to play spoiler):
enjoy it ... while it lasts.

i'd wish the sixers fans all the best to end the years of futility, but i simply can't see it. So if you believe wins over the Hawks, Magic and desinterested Heat point to a deep playoff run, then get your expectations back to earth. Just my believe ...

Eastern Conference Breakdown
1. New Jersey: 53-29
2. Cleveland: 52-30
3. Washington: 49-33
4. Miami: 47-35
5. Detroit: 46-36
6. Chicago: 45-37
7. Boston: 43-39
8. Orlando: 41-41
9. Indiana: 40-42
10. Toronto: 36-46
11. Milwaukee: 35-47
12. Philly: 33-49
13. Charlotte: 31-51
14. Atlanta: 30-52
15. New York: 19-63

he's a homer when it comes to the Celtics
 Hail

but predicting them to win 43 isn't that much of a reach, same with the Raps, 36 wins should be ok.
and the sixers he doesn't judge from the first 3 games (close wins against mediocre teams), but from their history:

bad management
likely AI trade
usually fall apart after ASW

when keeping AI ... and their collective health ... i'd see them in the 45 win range thou ...

yeah, strange. Keeping LBJ under control and getting beat by the Jones' and Marshall's hurts.

Too bad they couldn't maintain the momentum of the third quarter (apart from the final posession) into the 4th and finish their run. Guess there's no doubt we would have had this one in our bags ...
Wink

For me, the main culprit was the other Ben, who had ZERO defensive responsibility (Eric Snow) and shot 1-245 on the other end. Ouch ...
