After drafting two promising wingmen in George Johnson and Julius Erving, the sixers then decided to sign FA guard David Jonas, who was an integral part of their team last year. Jonas was mostly seen playing the back-up PG behind Bolinger. And sometimes the PF position because of his ability to play defense and rebound the ball. A few weeks earlier  the SixersGM did vow to resign David Jonas at all cost. It is because of their dedication to continue their run and gun style of basketball. Sixers gave David Jonas a 10 year deal 15m per year deal. It was regarded as one of the worst resigning the league has ever seen.

After signing Jaime Ruiz, Trevor Wells and Juan Ward. And then acquiring two top five picks that later turned out to be George Johnson and Julius Erving. The SixersGM did really got hasty on his decision. Drafting Butch Lee was one and David Jonas was another.

A few sims ago, a deal was just completed by the Sixers and the Wizards. The Wizards acquired George Johnson, a very talented and promising SF in the league. Who's game is somehow comparable to Tayshaun Prince. And David Jonas, Jaime Ruiz and Sixers' 2016 1st rounder this year. David Jonas, who averaged 11ppg 5rpg 3apg with very good shooting percentages, will most probably play backup behind all-star guard Michael Chamberlain. While Jaime Ruiz, who averaged 9rpg 1.8bpg, adds another talented young man in their frontcourt.

The Sixers on the other end, just got what the doctor ordered. A talented young frontcourt player who can play both ends of the court. Edgar Barner was regarded as one of the few remaining STAT. Sixers was burning the phone lines during draftday when they have the third and the fifth overall pick. Rumor has it that they almost traded George Johnson and Tyler for two promising frontcourt players. Edgar Barner, hopefully will end the sixers' obsession for a big man to play alongside Tyler. And the other player on the deal was Donta Smith. Donta Smith averaged 19ppg for the Wizards. And since the Sixers really put scoring on their number one priority, next to defense. His offensive arsenal will be a great help for their squad.

With half the season gone and having a record of 30-13. The sixers, who are currently have the league's best record, does wish to continue their winning ways and, hopefully, win the most improved team award again this year.

No offense or anything, but posting an article about your own team and only your team is not such a good thing. People probably won't spend and time reading it...

Yeah but why should any other GM care about it when the entire article is just about your team and nothing else. I've posted a few things and they were all for everyone to read, not like this.

Making an article for the entire league is really difficult. It takes a lot of time, compared to doing an article for your own team. And honestly, I dont have that much time to do an article for the whoe league.

I just hope that this thing im doing, would propell other GMs to do an article of their own team. IT would update everyone from whats happening to their team, or how have their team been doing so far. And consequently, with having a broader knowledge about the teams, one can do an article easier.

If this article is not for the better of the league. I would be willing to have this thing be removed. Its really not a big thing for me.

I agree with 76ersGM that it's better than nothing.  I haven't seen an article created by CavsGM here in since May 1st 2005....

First of all, I didn't see those because they're posted in the wrong place.

Second of all, you've posted essentially 1 since December 2005.  It's good, but it's not a bastion of chatter yourself.

My point still remains, if all he can post is about his team, it's better than nothing.  About the league is preferred, but post anything you like.
