my worst trade was trading watson with you lol, i could have another young superstar if i didnt, and i dont see a problem with two superstars who still can play 5-6 season of good b-ball, next 2 seasons its time to strenghten this teams bench and grab a good player in this years draft and FA.

I can only pray for you Gasol hangs 'em up earlier and you don't have to carry the 22mio salary (more than half of your salary cap) in 5-6 years when he averages 14mpg, 4.3ppg and .378 shooting having young PFs run circles around him.

And Watson was a crappy move, but i didn't know you then. That won't happen again, from my side ...

Ya know, Blazers, there was a time not so long ago (well, last offseason to be more specific) where you could have had Yao, but you refused to trade Shultz for him.

Now you traded Shultz for Hoffa.

WOW.

But to be honest I doubt Yao would have moved for
Shultz / Iggy / Jackman / Haywood / Blazers 2015 1st
as far as i can remember your price then. I think Buehler or Houbregs would have had to be part of the package and I doubt Tsakalidis/Bosh would have come back in return !

But tell me i'm wrong here ...

I think I was ready to accept a package of Buehler, Haywood, Shultz.

you wanted Buehler, Haywood, Shultz and 2 or 3 1st rounders for Yao,
i would never give buehler and shultz together for Yao or Hoffa, neither i would give more then one 1st.

Blazers I agree.

Shultz/Finley/Jackman/Haywood/Blazers 2015 1st for Hoffa/Tsakalidis/Bosh is somewhat fair.
Yao for Buehler/Haywood/Shultz/even one high 1st is terrible overpaying for a guy without winners attitude.

And this is leading to a more important question: the difference and value of Yao and Hoffa. Neither has won anything but meaningless awards, neither has been to the SSBA finals even once and both were playing for pretty good teams with a some additional star power.

Overrated? Makes you wonder ...

...neither did Artis Gilmore, but then again, there is still time, Hoffa is just entering his best years i believe.

....also i dont get it why ppl think Buehler cant play PF, he has the same size and ability as Dennis Rodman and Gus “Honeycomb” Johnson had, they were both 6-6 as well.
