Yeah, well my body's not in tip top shape anymore.  Tore my ACL playing football back in high school.  I can still play, but don't have near the elevation I used to (I'm 6'1".  At one point I could dunk a woman's ball.  Now I have trouble with a tennis ball).  But where it really degraded wasn't elevation, but stop and start cuts.

getting old sucks Smile

Funny that we have to talk about how old our bodies are when I'm 18 going on 19, and your 23.

And I can barely touch the bottom of the backboard. Before I blew me knees out, I was a distance runner, so I didn't have much muscle. Had to keep lean, therefore I didn't pack a big jump. Now, I've gained alot of muscle, but still can't jump cause of the blown tires.

I play golf Smile

the age doesn't mean shit. it's just the state of mind.

i'm 26, 6'4, and i can still dunk 360, behind the back and i can run all day long.

p.s. there is no way you can be old at 23. that's nonsense!

You can dunk 360 and behind the back...right. I had no idea JR Smith lived in Croatia.

it's uselles to argue about this one since i can't prove that to you. but it doesn't matter to me cause i know that's no lie and i can do that since i was 18 years old. you don't have to trust me, that's fine.

p.s. you think no one outside US can dunk behind back or 360?

hey Kings... I am living in Europe as well and I believe you. I know we have many good and spectacular players around.

About the age thing... I am probably GranDaddy here. I am 28, but I feel a lot younger. My entire life I played basketball, I've been snowboarding for 17 years... pretty hardcore, and now I play american football. Not to mention I play soccer often for fun and I am a phys ed teacher. So hey... no need to worry bout age... it is just a number. My body and my mind both feel years younger!  Laughing

Definitely the coolest euro I've seen Smile

Snowboarding's awesome.  Just wish I got to do it more often.  Living in Philly it's sometimes hard to get out of the city with my schedule.

that's why you don't brag about things on the internet.  It just comes off like showing off, because you can't prove it.

yea you are right but doing a 360  or behind dunk isn´t worth proving since i know about 10 guys who can do that.
i even played one time with a guy about 5´11´´ who could dunk with both hands passing the ball to himself of the backboard (still can´t believe i see that)
in a dunking competition a friend of mine did a dunk over a car (only the motor block, but it was creativ and nice to see)
i am playing now basketball for more than 10 yrs and i know something about what is possible or not. And in Croatia there are many people who play streetball. I think after soccer it is there most popular sport.

I'm old too: 25

I'm in pretty good shape. I messed up my ankle playing b-ball and had to get bone chips removed, so my ankle gets a little sore from time to time... That's my only 'oldness.'

The varsity lacrosse coach at my college (Univ. of Delaware) asked me to try out (I was pretty good in HS), but I was too busy smoking pot and listening to jam bands  Rolling Eyes .
I did play on the club team though, and we went to the club national championship (lost 9-8 to Ohio State). Glory days, haha

Living in philly right now, going to law school
