I concur. Surprising to say the least.

Had dreams of Rose falling to #3, but happy to pick up Beasely.
Showed the willingness to shoulder the load in the preseason, and his rebounding at the SF spot will be great.
Other bonus is that the 2 skills that rise the most are defense and outside shooting, his two biggest weaknesses...
Suns get the steal of the draft so far, imo...  Gaines was 3rd on my list.

well, I think the PG spot is pretty deep, still. Chalmers, Westbrook and one of the star players of the playoff.. Hopefully I can land either of them.

To pair either of the 3 with KJ and monta would be rock solid for my backcourt. all of them can score and dish the ball. perfect..

me too.

You were online Saturday, when the final deadline was long posted. Also, Doug was online on Oct 4th, way after we made the SSBA comeback (and just 2 days before the original draft time was initially planned - before SSBA headquarters decided to try running a draft camp)

but
IMO you both lucked out with the CPU selection. Hard to argue with Mayo and Gordon

(and the cpu-run Nuggets selection of Hibbert wasn't the worst either. In fact, it was a stunner to me, since the Nuggets have no SG and SF listed ... and despite having Borgmann at C selected a 2nd C. First time i've that seen happening when simming. Usually the CPU is pretty predictable ...)
