I am backpacking in South America until august. I have been here in Colombia for a week now and thought i would be better about being active. So anyways, i will likely miss some lineups and won?t have time to make offers. But i will respond to offers and do my best.

YOU WILL BE BACKPACKING IN SOUTH AMERICA UNTIL AUGUST ?
YOU WILL BE BACKPACKING IN SOUTH AMERICA UNTIL AUGUST ??
YOU WILL BE BACKPACKING IN SOUTH AMERICA UNTIL AUGUST ???

You honestly have the guts to come here and post like it's a "hey, i'm off for the next 2 days to visit my granny in philly" ???

Man, just a tiny little bit on sensibility, a tad of sure instinct toward the working part of this league - the majority btw - who will carve out their 6 days of summer vacation on some overcrowded beach.

So guys, if anything keep in mind that there ARE people in this world who have the possibility to go BACKPACKING TO SOUTH AMERICA UNTIL AUGUST. So if you're pissed from life, if daily business sucks, and you can't decide if the bridge or the rope is the way to go ... STOP. You should be BACKPACKING THROUGH SOUTH AMERICA UNTIL AUGUST first ... and decide afterwards.

And there's always that Aussie land (hot), the whole of Europe (you might never go back), Southeast Asia, and if you think you've seen it all, try Alaska (think of it like the Olympic nat'l park, just without visitors), the Sahara desert, Sibiria, the Middle East (just about anywhere, but plze grow a beard before), Africa (sounds worse than it is, even if E.R. is trying to convince us the whole continent is about to starve to death), and of course the poles ...

Cool

meh, I'm used to it from ClippersGM.  He used to have the most exotic (and most frequent) vacations imaginable.

Besides, I spent 10 days in the Caribbean last year, and will be going back again this year, so I can't complain too much (granted, it's 10 days, not 3 months, but it was still nice).

I'm jealous. I've only left my province twice in my life and once was to stay in the Country - went to Calgary, and the other was to go to Flordia which sucked.

Can't wait til I have the kind of money it takes to go on a vacation these days

You must have gone to the wrong place in florida.  If you hit up the right places, Florida is beautiful.

It was when my sister would have been about 7 or 8, so we did the touristy Disney World and that surrounding area...I'll bet there are some amazing places in Flordia and I've always wanted to go to the keys and stay on an island for a year or two.

The only good part of the trip was I hit some sleazy discount shoe store and got a brand new pair of Iverson 2s (I think it was 2s, maybe 3s - the one with the zippered piece that hid the laces) for like 20 bucks

Money is not really the hardest part. Its finding the time where you can get rid of or do not have any responsibilities. So save, find a time when you have little responsibility to others (like just getting laid off), and go.
