Lakers Trade:

Larry Hughes
2008 2nd Round Pick

Jazz Trade:

Arroyo
Borchardt
2006 1st Round Pick

With Kidd averaging almost 40 minutes a game I can salvage the loss of Arroyo, whereby I will sign Jacque Vaughn from free agency and have him as a serviceable back-up. Pachulia was ahead of Borchardt in my depth chart as it is and I'm basically putting all my chips in for this year and hoping I can resign a majority of my key players next season. I have a series of picks now in 2008 in case my plans backfire.

agreed, I get arroyo who is a true PG and has a very high handle, it is actually, top 10 in the league handle rating wise. I really think thats most important. He's got a good rating for potential yet, he can also shoot the 3. With this move i am able to move wade to the 2 his natural position. I also dont have to worry about resigning hughes to a big deal which he was going to get putting up 20 points 7 rebounds 3 assists and 2 steals. This way i can hopefully lock up kwame for half of my space then still be under the cap to wait until vlade and atkins expire to make a play. Borchardt was filler, and the 1st round pick was an EXTRA bonus. The 2nd rounder doesnt mean much to me.

cut kareem rush to make the deal work.

I believe so too, i think it gives each team what they needed, arroyo's ratings are good he just was playing behind kidd. It gives me a very good and cheap pg who is locked up and gives him the final piece to the puzzle for his chapionship run
kidd
hughes
jefferson
kirilenko
okur
thats pretty sick
Great defensively balanced offensively. I think they could go all the way with that lineup.

Very nice trade from the Lakers. Arroyo alone makes this deal.

Guy, please please PLEASE use the trade checker before submitting trades.  The Jazz need to add more salary to make this work.

Then use a calculator.  You need to get within 15% of the salary you're sending out.

which means his salary must be less than your salary*1.15

Don't be ignorant people. You don't even really need the trade checker. The total salary that is less, you multiply by 1.15. Then, if that is greater than the other total salary, it works. Not so difficult, is it...

Use this trade checker, all you have to do is put in the players' salary.

only use those outside trade checkers if you don't have excel.  They're not nearly as thorough.

Also, if you don't have excel:
