Estatic to land Alvin Robertson, who will work perfectly with Spud and Doleac.

threw all my FA money on a number of nice big men ... and of course the last one on my list signed.
it sucks to be a lousy team with a non-existent win rating ...

at least I got Geiger, my leading scorer, back. Guess he will die in TC ...

Anyway, I'm just glad to resign back one of my "Jordans", in Jamal Mashburn. Signed him into a long contract, since he got some really good true potential back then and is arguably a top 2 or 3 SF in the league.

Well, I was gunning one of those dinosaurs with my cap room. Adam Curley was my last resort, I was really high on that kid.  It seems to be that the dinosaurs cared more about money than winning. Glads to have one of those "Toni Kukoc" to my team.

Estatic to land springer on my team. Thus truly adds a lot of depth for my frontcourt. He fills my team's weakness last season. I'm guaranteeing a finals appearance now. Hahaha jk

Well I am a dummy for not planning well. Now i'm over the hard cap. At least I got Ewing back. If anyone wants to help me out I am 4 mil. over the cap and will pay cash to get back under.

Happy to have Hunt back on the cheap...  Might have to give him some run at SF due to the retirement of Phil Hubbard...

I got 3 nice young prospects. Maybe overpaid for them, but what can you do? At least none of them are signed longer than 3 years. If one of them breaks out then it'll be worth it.

makes no sense to me to pay so much money to 3 guys that have similar abilities. you should have kept your money for next year. with the current team you will have troubles to win 20 games next year.

Actually, I kind of like Hornets signings of the young players who seems to be promising, rating wise. It also keeps them into a good position into next year's lotto.

 I like the Laettener signing. Now I know why he didn't accept my $8m per year offer. :D

I'm confident that I can flip any one of them for an expiring, especially if they develop in TC.
When rebuilding, it's not about positions of need, but stockpiling talent for trades. Prior to acquiring the 3 of them, I had no starting SF and no starting PF. Now I have both, with a decent young backup with potential.

I'm a little surprised the Sours didn't sign him, but it seems like the CPU is pretty cautious handing out big contracts (*). Only signing so far is an LLE from the Knicks.

i'm with the Hornets. IMO the only way in this league to get any talent is handing out big contracts. And hoping they don't backfire (like last years signing KA and LJ did big time).

I like the Marvin signing, he could be a starter. And I somehow understand the Posey offer. But I have no clue what to make of Simmons' contract. I don't know how many times he's disappointed me (preseason mostly) and he's got opportunities enough. Honestly, if there wasn't a little interest in a S&T i would not have brought him back, not even for a 1yr expiring deal.

So if you really believe teams are in line to take Cedric with that massive contract now, good luck. He better prove some value first ...

Damn. This was by far the best FA we had without cap space :D

I'm hoping that he'll prove to be the shotblocker at PF he was touted as coming out of college. If he gets up to something like A B+ at PF, then it's worth it.

Happy to pick myself up a young PG in Steve Ostertag.
This will give me some flexibiity with Russel Westbrook

I think Calbert was signed to a pretty good deal.

I think Calbert was signed to a pretty good deal.

To tell you the truth, I was reluctant to give him such a big offer. I would have preferred DeWolf instead. His production is higher and I was hoping Mashburn or Laettner would take the huge contracts instead but Calbert took the contract first.
