Ok, how about an upgrade over Googs then?

17  The War Room / Trade Talk / Re: Looking to spend big for a tier 1 center on: December 21, 2008, 02:15:55 PM
How 'bout

Gatling
Azario
2 first rounders?

If I can't get something good for that, I guess I just can't get something good no matter how much I pay.

Not getting a lot of offers that work for me.

What if it was
Azario
Googs
2030 Jazz 1st
2032 Jazz 1st

That peak any interest?

Will send Googs and Azario (PG) for the right guy.  I might even include my first this coming year.  Like I said looking to make a major move.  Not interested in 30+ year old players.

22  League Information / General Board / Re: Training Camp done on: December 17, 2008, 12:04:10 AM
Well, not a terrible TC for the Jazz.  Not stellar, but, both my rookies improved which was nice.  I --may-- have the strongest pair of pgs in the league right now in Felton and Azario.  MLE signing Gregory Azario gives me a B+ defense from the center position.  Unsure if he can get any minutes or not, but, I'm hoping he does well in preseason.

Factoid:  Felton is exactly -1 from Chris Paul in every catagory except Potential where he is +1.  So, if Paul is God, Felton has to be some sort of minor diety.

I tried to move Felton for Deron Williams prior to TC and was shot down.  I think sometimes the trades I don't makes are the best ones.

Fellas, even my 3rd string PG is looking decent.  I've got way too much talent locked up in the PG position.  I know I'm asking an arm and a leg for Felton and Azario (and I think both are worth that), but, maybe I could interest someone in a Craig Kerr?  He's improved pretty drastically in both TCs so far, even if his scouted potential is poor he is shooting up the ranks.  I think he could be a good backup PG for someone out there.

It wouldn't hurt my feelings to delay sim #1 until after your break.  Any way that works for you is fine.
24  Archive / Processed Trades / Magic/Jazz on: December 04, 2008, 06:17:07 PM
Jazz trade
#21
3rd pick in 2nd round
Derrick McKey

Magic trade
Francisco Garcia

I could use a SG, so this works for me.
25  The War Room / Trade Talk / #21 available on: December 03, 2008, 11:46:34 PM
Some talents left on the board.  Most of them PGs and I allready drafted a PG, so I'm hoping I can make a move that works before I have to start playing Nellieball.

Raymond Felton still available, both could go in a package.

I didn't really expect him to fall to me @ #5, My pg situation is locked up allready, so I'm shopping him.

If you have interest send an offer.

BTW:  In my sort of draftees, Felton was #2 on the list behind Paul.

Dont' get me wrong, I think it's TERRIFIC that we are using a non-twink system here.  TERRIFIC.  Just run the numbers.  That's the only way to go.
29  Archive / Past Seasons / Re: Draft is up on: November 30, 2008, 02:05:57 PM
Can you tell me what John Stockton's ratings should have been?  In another sim league I was in he came into the league with worse ratings than Jay Humphries and that always infuriated me.  (I thought it was based on college ranks where Stockton was clearly better, so if it was based on 1st year production maybe that explains it)

I still don't know what to do about my draft lists.
